Ethanol 04:17
I spend a lot of time thinking about the things that I should have figured out as a kid, but never did The only way to get this anger to pass is drown myself in another glass Of distilled, very chilled I'm not saying that you should have done something for me I'm not saying that you should have done something for me Even if you had it wouldn't have helped or changed a thing I'm not saying that you should have done something for me I've got my ethanol and every drinks' a curtain call I've got my ethanol I make believe I climb the walls I've got my ethanol I don't need a friend, don't need you all I've got my ethanol I'll fall asleep and forget the world Don't you worry about this doing me in It's a battle that I can win If I quit, or give a shit I'm not saying that you should just take the fall for me I'm not saying that you shouldn't blame it all on me Even if you do it's not gonna help or change a thing I'm not saying that you shouldn't be ashamed of me I've got my ethanol and every drinks' a curtain call I've got my ethanol I make believe I climb the walls I've got my ethanol I don't need a friend, don't need you all I've got my ethanol I'll fall asleep and forget the world In the end I'm right back where I started In the end I wake up broken hearted I can't pretend i'm not feeling lethargic Impotent, intoxicated, retarded... I've got my ethanol and every drinks' a curtain call I've got my ethanol I make believe I climb the walls I've got my ethanol I don't need a friend, don't need you all I've got my ethanol I'll fall asleep and forget the world

You take it in the morning To quiet down the voices in your head You disregard the warning Never pay no-mind to what it said I need it too The same way that you do I need it too You rarely let your hair down Afraid of doing something you'll regret But to have another go-round Makes it so much easier to forget I need it too The same way that you do I need it too Now you're getting into trouble And everyone can see you at your worst But inside your little bubble There isn't any room left for remorse I need it too The same way that you do I need it too Just can't face the truth I need it too There's nothing they can do I need it too...

China White 05:33
In this crowded room the only face I see Gives me just one look and possesses me She unlocks the door and she lets me in Gently lay her out on the porcelain You're my little China White Will I see you here tonight? Is it wrong or is it right? As we dance beneath the light You're so delicate and white And just one taste of you intoxicates me every time little China White Little China why won't you let me sleep? Now the sun is out and it's cursing me As we danced all night through the empty streets Got what I desired but it's killing me You're my little China White Will I see you here tonight? Is it wrong or is it right? As we dance beneath the light You're so delicate and white And just one taste of you intoxicates me Every time little China White I want to take you in my arms As I pull you from the fire When I feel you in my veins I hear an angels choir... You're my little China White Will I see you here tonight? Is it wrong or is it right? As we dance beneath the light You're so delicate and white And just one taste of you intoxicates me every time little China White I wanna feel her in my veins Cause nothing else could feel this way

The Stranger 03:48
I was walking in my sleep In a cold and rainy dream Down a stretch of lonely highway in the night A car slowly crept by me I heard a voice but couldn't see The Strangers face who kindly offered me a ride There's no use crying now There's no use crying out You never will be found You can stop fighting now You can stop fighting out The Stranger has got you now I've never seen this place before And there were scratches on the floor Illuminated by a single swaying light And there was someone watching me When will I wake up from this dream The Stranger laughed and said "you will not wake this time" There's no use crying now There's no use crying out You never will be found You can stop fighting now You can stop fighting out The Stranger has got you now Didn't your mother ever tell you That you should never talk to strangers? I bet you wish that you had listened up I bet you wish that you had listened up I bet you wish that you had listened up I bet you wish that you had listened There's no use crying now There's no use crying out You never will be found You can stop fighting now You can stop fighting out The Stranger has got you now

Hey Mister! 02:39
We're the kids in your school Who get trashed and we break all the rules They try to drag us to the office but what can they do? We puff, puff, puff suck Our cigarettes until we've gotten enough The teachers are pulling out their hair 'Cause there's nothing they can do We're a problematic youth Hey mister! We ain't going nowhere Hey mister! We ain't going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere The tall boys hit the streets Cause such a ruckus it awakens the trees and The dogs are barking but it's our block What can they do? We're quick to lick them in a fight A little blood can make a lot of things right We smell the pigs around the corner We see the red and blue This fight isn't for you, we say... Hey mister! We ain't going nowhere Hey mister! We ain't going nowhere Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere To hell with teachers To hell with rules To hell with parents To hell with you

In the morning Around the bend Memories around my head Boy did we have fun My good old friend Weeping willows And skipping stones Oh how we've grown Boy did we have fun My good old friend Even at the hour It's so hard to see When we close our eyes We're what we want to be In the morning Around the bend Memories around my head Boy did we have fun My good old friend Weeping willows And skipping stones Oh how we've grown Boy did we have fun My good old friend Wake up and it's gone In the blink of an eye They all carried on But me, I only cry In the morning Around the bend Memories around my head Boy did we have fun My good old friend Weeping willows And skipping stones Oh how we've grown Boy did we have fun My good old friend Boy did we have fun My good old friend

about

Blood relative of America's first serial killer announces the release of his debut album China White, produced by Brian West of Nelly Furtado / K’NAAN / Papertongues fame.

Windy City Gentleman draws inspiration from the man who brought infamy to his family name, Herman Webster Mudgett, aka Dr. H. H. Holmes, the serial killer who terrorized the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago.

The result is a dark and elegant universe that provides the listener with an outlet of escapism evoking the sonic imagery of Nirvana, Radiohead, and Bowie.

China White is OUT NOW on Pterodactyls After Midnight Records.
